Participation Info

The International Folk Dance Festival “Prague 2025” is a non-competitive festival open to children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, instrumental groups, choirs, and performers from other art styles.

Each group must consist of a minimum of 10 performers, with no age limit for participants.

During the festival, each group will have two performances—one in a closed concert hall and another on an open stage, with the option to perform with live music or via USB.
The duration of performances will be determined based on the number of participating groups. Evening performances allow groups to explore the city’s attractions during the day.
All participating groups will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Accommodation Info

Participants will be accommodated in a 3-star hotel on a half-board basis. Groups will share rooms with 3 to 4 beds and private bathrooms. Each group may reserve two double rooms for leaders and drivers, with additional costs of €7 per person per day for extra double rooms and €25 per day for single rooms.
A rooming list must be submitted by the end of February. Groups that do not provide this information will have their rooming arranged by the festival, and no changes will be possible upon arrival.

The festival fee is €135 per person, covering organizational expenses, accommodation for three nights, and two meals per day. For every 25 participants, one member can participate free of charge. If a group wishes to extend their stay, please inform the organizers during the application process; additional nights are €30 per person per day. A tourist tax of €2.20 per person per day is applicable.

Participation fees can be paid via bank transfer or in cash on the day of arrival. An advance payment of €30 per person is required upon receipt of the official invitation.
