We invite you to join the VII International Troia Dance Festival & Competition in the historic city of Çanakkale, Turkey. Known for its rich cultural heritage and proximity to the ancient ruins of Troy, Çanakkale offers a vibrant backdrop for this celebration of folk dance and music.
Festival Welcomes:
Folk dance ensembles (children, youth, and adult groups).
General Rules:
Performances lasting 6-8 minutes (live music preferred, recorded music acceptable).
Each group must bring their national flag and 3 gifts for exchange.
Minimum of 2 different performances prepared by each group.
No limit on the number of participants per group.
Send application form, 6 digital photos, group description, and performance videos/links via email.
Option 1:
3-star hotels (Temizay, Helen, Yurdakul).
Participation fee: 190 EUR per person for 4 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner).
Double room supplement: 10 EUR/person/day.
Single room supplement: 20 EUR/person/day.
Option 2:
High-quality private hostels (e.g., Kumru Suites, Tuna Kız Öğrenci Yurdu).
Participation fee: 140 EUR per person for 4 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner).
Rooms with 2-4 beds and private bathrooms.
Additional Notes:
One free participation for every 25 participants.
Tourist tax and insurance not included (if applicable).
Deposit: 1000 EUR (non-refundable) as confirmation of participation.
Balance: Due 15 days before the festival or upon arrival.
Application Deadline: 15 June 2025.

18:00 – Dinner.
21:00 – Welcome meeting with festival representatives.
Day 2 (05 July 2025):
07:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – Rehearsals or optional excursions.
18:00 – Dinner.
21:00 – Festival performances or workshops.
Day 3 (06 July 2025):
07:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – Rehearsals or optional excursions.
18:00 – Dinner.
21:00 – Competition rounds or cultural exchange.
Day 4 (07 July 2025):
07:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – Free time or optional excursions.
18:00 – Dinner.
21:00 – Gala performance and awards ceremony.
Day 5 (08 July 2025):
07:00 – Breakfast.
12:00 – Departure.
Optional Excursions (extra paid):
Sightseeing in Çanakkale: Ancient Troy, Çanakkale Martyrs’ Memorial.
Boat trip along the Dardanelles Strait.
