We invite you to join us in the historic city of Rome, Italy, for the V. International Folklore Festival.
Rome, the capital of Italy, is famed for its ancient wonders, Renaissance art, and vibrant cultural heritage, highlighted by iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Trevi Fountain.
The city provides a majestic setting for an inspiring cultural exchange during the festival from 12–15 March 2026.
Festival Welcomes:
Folk ensembles from various countries, including Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Armenia, Georgia, Indonesia, Slovenia, and more.
General Rules:
Prepare a performance suitable for festival presentation.
Bring national flag.
Groups arrange own transport to Rome. Transfers available at extra cost.
Send group CV and photos via email in advance.
Accommodation in 3★ or 4★ hotels in Rome or its vicinity (examples: Hotel Scacciapensieri, Park Hotel Serenissima, Hotel Principe, Hotel Vila Maria, Hotel Palace 2000, Hotel Ginevra Palace, Casa di accoglienza Opera don Calabria, Hotel Neptunus, etc.).
Participation Fee:
165 € – 3 nights with breakfast (standard hotels).
189 € – 3 nights with breakfast (superior hotels).
Additional Costs:
Double room supplement: 7 € per person per night.
Mandatory city/tourist tax: depends on hotel (to be advised).
Optional dinner supplement: from 20 € per person per day (depending on hotel).

Arrival in Rome, transfer to hotel.
Afternoon optional sightseeing tour of Rome (extra paid).

Breakfast.
Festival activities: preparations, sound check, performances.
Awarding of diplomas.
Optional mutual friendly night / final party.

Day 3 – 14.03.2026:

Free time in Rome or optional excursions:
a) Trip to Naples with panoramic tour (extra paid).
b) Tour of Vatican City with visit to St. Peter’s Basilica & Sistine Chapel (extra paid, request 3 months in advance).
Evening leisure.
Overnight.
Day 4 – 15.03.2026:
Breakfast, check-out.
Free time for last visits in Rome.
Optional excursion to Tivoli with visit to Villa d’Este (extra paid).
Afternoon/evening: departure or optional dinner in Tivoli.
Official end of festival, farewells.
