We invite you to join us in the beautiful city of Ohrid, North Macedonia, for the XXXI International Music & Dance Festival “OHRID SUN”. Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is famed for its stunning lake, ancient churches, and historic architecture, providing a magical setting for a cultural celebration from 20-24 August 2026. The festival’s motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and regions, and to provide an opportunity for members to get together, establish friendships, and present their culture through dance and music.
Festival Welcomes:
Folk groups, choral groups, modern dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups, orchestras, soloists, and groups from other art styles (children, youth, and adults).
General Rules:
Non-competitive festival.
Performance lasting 12-18 minutes (USB or live).
Bring a national flag.
Limit: 80 persons per group (including dancers, managers, musicians, family).
Max 3 groups per country.
Send CV and 3 photos via email.
Groups arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
Festival program will be held on the main square in Ohrid.

13:00 – Arrival in Ohrid, hotel accommodation, and free activities
14:00 – 15:00 – Lunch in hotel (if option chosen)

Day 2:
09:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
10:30 – 14:00 – Ohrid sightseeing (St. Sofia church, Samuil’s Fortress, Antique Theatre, Plaosnik, St. Kaneo church)
14:00 – 15:00 – Lunch in hotel
18:30 – 19:30 – Dinner in hotel
20:00 – Ensembles parade (old town)
20:30 – Official opening of the festival (welcome speech, open-air performance, dancing together)
Day 3:

11:00 – 15:30 – Boat cruise on Lake Ohrid, visit Museum on Water and St. Naum Monastery (lunch packet on the boat, dancing boat)
