Participation Information

We are delighted to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, modern dance teams, and majorette teams of all ages (children, youth, and adults) to the XI International Music & Folk – Dance Festival “ANTALYA FEST”

in Antalya, Turkey.
Purpose of the Festival:
To celebrate and present the cultural traditions of diverse countries, foster friendships among participants, and promote cultural exchange through music and dance performances in public spaces.

Eligibility:

  • All folklore, choir, modern dance, and majorette teams, regardless of members’ gender or age, may participate.
  • Each country is limited to three groups.
  • Each group can have up to 70 participants, including dancers, musicians, managers, and family members.

Performance Requirements:

  • Folklore ensembles must prepare at least two dances (12–15 minutes each).
  • Choirs must prepare a 15-minute free program.
  • Performances will take place in the evenings.

Application Requirements:

  • Submit a short CV (5–6 sentences in English) and photos of the group.
  • Bring your country’s flag for the event.
  • Groups must arrange their own transportation for arrival and departure.

 

Accommodation Information

Participants will stay in a 5-star hotel in Side, Antalya, with ultra all-inclusive service, offering:

  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner with drinks.

Participation Fee:

  • €190 per person for 5 nights/6 days with all-inclusive accommodations (triple/quadruple rooms).

Additional costs:

  • Double room: €43 per person per day.
  • Single room: €75 per person per day.
  • City tax: €1.50 per person per day.
  • For extended stays: €40 per person per day (all-inclusive).

Additional Benefits:

  • One free spot for every 25 participants.
  • Souvenirs, gifts, attendance certificates, and free parking.
  • Guided tours of the town.
  • Promotion of the festival through press, social media, and posters.

Insurance:
Participants are responsible for their own personal and health insurance. First aid and medical hospital access will be available, but medical expenses must be covered by the group.

Program Information

Day 1:

  • 13:00: Check-in and free time (beach activities).
  • 14:00–16:00: Lunch at the hotel.
  • 18:00–21:00: Dinner at the hotel.
  • 21:00–22:30: Meeting with the festival director.

Day 2: 

  • 08:00–10:00: Breakfast.
  • 10:00–16:00: Optional boat excursion with swimming and lunch.
  • 13:00–15:00: Lunch at the hotel.
  • 19:00–21:00: Dinner at the hotel.
  • 21:00–23:00: Festival presentations.

Day 3

  • 08:00–10:00: Breakfast.
  • 11:00: Reception with the Mayor of Manavgat (gifts for leaders).
  • 13:00: Optional excursions or beach time.
  • 14:00: Lunch at the hotel.
  • 19:00–21:00: Dinner at the hotel.
  • 21:00–23:00: Opening ceremony, defile, and performances.

Day 4

  • 08:00–10:00: Breakfast.
  • 11:00–17:00: Optional visit to Ephesus or beach activities.
  • 13:00–15:00: Lunch at the hotel.
  • 19:00–21:00: Dinner at the hotel.
  • 21:00–23:00: Second festival evening in Side.

Day 5: Departure

  • 08:00–10:00: Breakfast.
  • 11:00: Departure of participants.

Optional Extended Stay:

  1. Additional days include meals, beach time, and optional evening events, such as a farewell beach party.

 Excursions Information

During the festival, participants will have opportunities to explore Antalya and its surroundings:

Optional Excursions:

  • Boat excursion with stops for swimming and lunch.
  • Visit to Antalya’s historic Old Town or the ancient city of Side.
  • Day trip to Ephesus, a famous historical site.

Local Highlights:

Antalya: A resort city featuring beaches, a yacht-filled harbor, and Roman-era ruins such as Hadrian’s Gate and Hidirlik Tower.
Side: A charming ancient city known for its temples, amphitheater, and harbor.
