Participation Information

We are pleased to invite children, youth, and adult groups from all over the world to participate in the XII International Dance & Music Festival “BOSPHORUS FEST” from April 24-27, 2026, in Istanbul, Turkey. This festival offers a unique opportunity for groups to showcase their culture and traditions through dance, music, and national costumes.

General Rules for Participation:

Participants can include folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from all over the world (children and youth only).

The festival will feature non-competitive presentations of traditional and modern dances, choral groups, majorette teams, orchestras, and brass bands.

• Groups should prepare at least two dances, each lasting 8-12 minutes, with either USB or live orchestra accompaniment. Choirs should prepare a free program lasting 12-15 minutes.
• Groups must bring a flag of their country and a few gifts for visits to the municipality and organizers.
• Groups wishing to participate must submit an application form. A completed and signed application form indicates acceptance of the festival’s terms and regulations.
• Each country can send only three groups, and the number of participants is limited.
• Groups must send a short CV and a few photos of the group by email.
• Groups are responsible for their own transport for arrival and departure.
