We invite folk groups, choral groups, orchestras, and majorette teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXXI International Music & Dance Festival “OHRID SPRING FESTIVAL,” taking place from March 20 to 23, 2025, in Ohrid, Macedonia.
Festival Purpose: The festival’s primary goal is to showcase the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for group members to connect, establish friendships, and present their cultures through dance and music.
The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, choral groups, and majorette teams.
All folklore, choral groups, and majorette teams have the right to participate. Groups can include folklore dance, modern dance, vocal groups, instrumental groups, and soloists.
A maximum of three groups from each country can participate.
Each group may consist of up to 50 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.
Groups must prepare at least two dances, each lasting 10-15 minutes, performed with live orchestra or CD. Performances will occur in the evenings, allowing time for sightseeing during the day.
Groups should submit a short CV and 2-3 photos, bring a flag of their country, and arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.

Insurance: Personal responsibility and health insurance are required for all groups. First aid and medical services will be available and must be covered by the group.

Transportation Info: Participants can arrive by bus or plane, with WIZZ AIR offering direct flights to Ohrid Airport.
Free transport from the airport to the hotel will be arranged for those arriving by air. Arrivals through Skopje, Tirana, or Thessaloniki airports (200 km from Ohrid) can also be coordinated.

The festival features a variety of excursions, including:
Ohrid Sightseeing: Explore cultural monuments such as St. Sofia Church, Samoil Fortress, Antique Theatre, Plaosnik, St. Kaneo Church, and the Bridge of Wishes on March 21 from 10:00 to 13:00.
Cruise on Ohrid Lake: Enjoy a boat cruise and visit the Museum on Water and the famous St. Naum Monastery on March 22 from 11:00 to 14:00 (cost: €12 per person, includes a lunch package).
Visit to Struga City: Experience Kalista Cave and the old bazaar on March 22 from 15:00 to 17:00.
