Participation Information

We are delighted to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, ballroom dance groups, and modern dance teams (for children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXXII International Music & Dance Festival “CULTURE BRIDGES,” held from 03-08 July 2026 in Durrës, Albania.

The festival’s purpose is to present the cultural traditions of different countries and foster friendships through music and dance. Performances will take place in the evenings on the main square of Durrës, allowing participants to explore the city and its history during the day.

General Rules:

  • Non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, music, and performances.
  • Open to folklore, choral, majorette, vocal, and dance groups, regardless of gender or age.
  • Maximum 3 groups per country.
  • Groups may include up to 70 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
  • Folk ensembles: At least 2 dances, 10–15 minutes each (with orchestra or USB).
  • Choral groups: Free program of about 15 minutes.
  • Groups must bring their country’s flag, submit a short CV, 5 photos, and a video link of the group.
  • Participants must arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
  • Wizz Air and Ryan Air offer affordable flights to Tirana Airport.

 

Accommodation Information

 3* HOTEL

Fees:

  • €129 per person for 3 nights, including 2 meals per day.
  • €159 per person for 4 nights, including 2 meals per day.
  • €189 per person for 45nights, including 2 meals per day.
  • Groups can extend their stay for €35 per person per night (HB basis).

Double room is 10 euros per person per day; – Single room is 20 euros per person per day;

Room Options: Double and triple rooms, with additional double rooms available upon request for an extra €10 per room per night.

 

Festival organizers provide:

  • for 24 dancers – one gratis
  • souvenir and gift for each group
  • Certificate for attendance
  • drinks during performance
  • free parking
  • advertising of the festival (press release, social media promotions, posters)

Insurance:

Personal responsibility and health insurance are the responsibility of the groups. First Aid and medical services will be available, but the costs must be covered by the group.

Tourist Tax:

The tourist tax and insurance cost is 1 EUR per person per day, which will be an additional payment.

Program Information

Day 1 

  • 13:00: Arrival in Durrës, hotel check-in, and free time (beach time).
  • 19:00–21:00: Dinner (buffet) at the hotel.
  • 21:00: Meeting with festival representatives.

Day 2 

  • 09:00–10:00: Breakfast (buffet).
  • 11:00–12:00: Excursion to Tirana or Durrës (sightseeing).
  • 18:00–19:00: Dinner (buffet) at the hotel.
  • 19:30–21:00: Festival defile and evening performances on the main square in Durrës.

Day 3 

  • 09:00–10:00: Breakfast (buffet).
  • 10:30–15:00: Free beach time or visit to Krujë (historic monuments and museums).
  • 19:00–21:00: Dinner (buffet) at the hotel.
  • 21:00: Dance workshop to learn dances from other cultures.

Day 4

  • 09:00–10:00: Breakfast (buffet).
  • 10:30–15:00: Free beach time or visit to Krujë (historic monuments and museums).
  • 19:00–21:00: Dinner (buffet) at the hotel.
  • 21:00: Goodbye party with all participants around the swimming pool.

Day 5

  • 09:00–10:00: Breakfast (buffet).
  • 11:00: Departure of participants.

Excursions Information

BERAT – UNESCO Full-Day Tour (15 guests required)

TIRANA & KRUJA Full-Day Tour (15 guests required)

  • This full-day tour combines the vibrant, modern energy of Tirana with the historic legacy of Kruja, home to Skanderbeg’s fortress. Experience the contrast between the capital’s colorful boulevards and the ancient citadel overlooking the landscape.

TIRANA Half-Day Tour (15 guests required)

  • Explore Albania’s vibrant capital, from its fascinating history at Skanderbeg Square to its unique blend of Ottoman, Italian, and communist-era architecture. Discover the city’s dynamic energy through its colorful buildings, bustling cafes, and rich cultural sites.

Divjakë-Karavasta National Park Full-Day Tour (15 guests required)

  • This full-day excursion takes you to the pristine wetlands of Divjakë-Karavasta National Park, home to the rare Dalmatian pelican. Explore its diverse ecosystems of lagoons, pine forests, and sandy dunes through peaceful walking and birdwatching.
