We invite you to join us in the vibrant city of Trabzon, Turkey, the 2025 Capital of Culture, for an unforgettable celebration of unity, friendship, and dance. The festival will take place from 11-18 August 2026, offering a unique opportunity to experience the rich traditions and breathtaking landscapes of the Black Sea region.
Festival Welcomes:
Folk dance ensembles, cultural groups, and musicians (no age or organizational limits).
General Rules:
Performance duration: Maximum 8 minutes (live orchestra or USB; no playback).
Bring national flag, group flag (if any), and at least 10 small gifts for exchanges.
Submit name list, date of birth, and passport numbers 30 days before the festival (deadline: June 2025).
Each group must have an English-speaking representative.
Authentic costumes, props, and musical instruments (e.g., Kemancha or Bag Pipe) are highly recommended.
Groups must participate in all scheduled events (parades, concerts, workshops).
Accommodation:
Luxury dormitory (3-4 star equivalent) with sea/mountain views, balcony, and en-suite bathrooms.
Participation Fee:
140 EUR per person (no free participation).
Included in Fee:
Accommodation in 3-4 bed rooms.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (except on free days; no lunch during free time).
Festival participation, competitions, diplomas, and souvenirs.
Professional sound/lighting, DJ performances, and guided assistance.
Not Included:
Transportation (groups arrange own flights/buses; transfers provided for air travelers).
Optional excursions, travel insurance, and personal expenses.

Day 1 (11 Aug): Arrival
06:00–18:00: Check-in at dormitory.
18:00–22:00: Dinner.
21:00: Team leaders’ meeting.
Day 2-3 (12-13 Aug): Free Days
Breakfast, optional sightseeing (Sumela Monastery, Uzungöl Lake, etc.), Horon dance training.
Evening DJ performances.
Day 4-7 (14-17 Aug): Festival Days
Parades, press statements, and performances across multiple stages (Ganita, City Centre, Avni Aker).
Contests: Beauty, Costume, and Stage Performance.
Evening concerts by national artists.
Day 8 (18 Aug): Departure
07:00–10:00: Breakfast and check-out.
Optional Activities (extra paid):
Trabzon City Tour: Sumela Monastery, Atatürk’s Mansion, Uzungöl Lake.
Black Sea Boat Trip: Scenic coastal ride.
Cultural Sites: St. Eugenius Church, Vazelon Monastery, Sera Lake.
