We cordially invite children and youth folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, modern dance groups, majorette teams, and music bands from all over the world to participate in the X International Folk Dance Festival “CANAKKALE-ECEABAT”, to be held from July 27 to July 31, 2026, in Çanakkale, Turkey.
Festival Purpose:
The aim of this festival is to present and celebrate the cultural traditions of different countries, offer a platform for cultural exchange through dance and music, and foster friendships among participants. The festival seeks to bring music closer to people by presenting it in public spaces such as streets and squares.
Participation Guidelines:
Groups must prepare at least two dances, each lasting between 8 to 15 minutes, to be performed either with a USB or live orchestra.
Participants must bring their country’s flag and a few gifts for municipal visits.
All interested groups must complete and submit an application form. Submission of the application signifies agreement with the festival terms.
A brief CV and at least three photos of the group should be sent via email.
By July 1, 2025, groups must submit a list of participants including names, surnames, genders, dates of birth, and passport numbers.
Groups are responsible for their own transportation for arrival and departure.

Hotel Details:
Accommodation is provided in Kumru Hotels, 2-star or 3-star hotels in Çanakkale, Turkey. The hotel offers half-board service (2 meals per day). Room allocation is as follows:
Participation Fee:
Leaders and drivers will be accommodated in double rooms.
Other participants will be accommodated in triple and quadruple rooms.
An additional day can be booked at a rate of 35 euros per person per day.
Room Upgrades:
Double Room: 7 Euro per person per day supplement
Single Room: 15 Euro per person per day supplement
