We invite you to the 2nd International Cultural Festival “FOLKWAY” in Athens, the historic capital of Europe and cradle of Western civilization. With the Acropolis dominating its skyline and neighborhoods like Plaka and Monastiraki filled with life, Athens is the ultimate meeting point for a celebration of international tradition and culture.
Festival Welcomes:
Traditional Folk Dance Groups, Choirs, Orchestras from all over the world.
General Rules:
Performance lasting up to 12 minutes (accompanied by an orchestra or CD/flash).
Carry the national flag and, if available, the club banner.
No limit to the number of participants per group.
No age limit.
Send the completed Entry Form by April 10, 2026.
An advance payment is required by April 20, 2026.
Groups arrange own travel. Offers for road and air transport can be provided by the organizers.
Accommodation in very good and selected hotels in the city of Athens.

The Full Package Includes:
4 days / 3 nights accommodation in double and triple rooms with breakfast.
Participation in the Festival (individual certificates, photos, videos).
Transportation from the hotel to the event venue and back.
Treats with drinks on the day of the performance.
Memorial gifts.
One free participation per 25 paying participants.
The Full Package does NOT include:
Longer length of stay (Extra night cost: 60 € in 3* hotels, 78 € in 4* hotels with breakfast).
Half board option (price depends on hotel).
Residence Tax.

Friday 10 July 2026:
14:00 – Arrival at the hotel & check-in.
Welcome by organizers’ representative.
Free time for rest, city exploration, or optional excursion.
Saturday 11 July 2026:
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day for activities / Optional excursion.
20:30 – Optional traditional party with live Greek music, dances, food, and drinks.
Gifts and participation certificates will be given by the organizers.
Sunday 12 July 2026:
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day for activities / Optional excursion.
19:00 – Departure from the hotel in traditional costumes for the event venue (open Amphitheater in the park of Peristeri Athens).
Festival Evening: Performances, souvenirs from the local Municipality.
After the event, treats, drinks, and water will be served.
Monday 13 July 2026:
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure of the groups.
Optional Excursions (extra paid):
