We invite you to the 2nd International Cultural Festival “FOLKWAY” in the vibrant city of Thessaloniki, Greece. Thessaloniki, the “Nymph of Thermaikos,” is a city where history meets modern life, offering a unique atmosphere with its iconic White Tower, Byzantine churches, and rich multicultural heritage. It is the ideal destination for a celebration of tradition and diversity.
Festival Welcomes:
Traditional Folk Dance Groups, Choirs, Orchestras from all over the world.
General Rules:
Performance lasting up to 12 minutes (accompanied by an orchestra or CD/flash).
Carry the national flag and, if available, the club banner.
No limit to the number of participants per group.
No age limit.
Send the completed Entry Form by April 10, 2026.
An advance payment is required by April 20, 2026.
Groups arrange own travel. Offers for road and air transport can be provided by the organizers.
Accommodation in carefully selected hotels in the city of Thessaloniki.

Full Package (accommodation, participation, party):
196 € – In 3-4* Hotels with Bed & Breakfast (BB).
238 € – In 5* Grand Hotel Palace with Bed & Breakfast (BB).

The Full Package Includes:
4 days / 3 nights accommodation in double and triple rooms.
Participation in the Festival (individual certificates, souvenirs, photos, videos).

Transportation from the hotel to the event venue and back.

One free participation per 25 paying participants.
The Full Package does NOT include:
Longer length of stay (Extra night cost: 52 € in 3-4* hotels, 65 € in 5* hotels with BB).

14:30 – Arrival at the hotel & check-in.
Welcome by organizers’ representative.

07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day for activities / Optional excursion (Thessaloniki City Tour, Food Tour, Cruise).
20:30 – Traditional party for all groups with snacks, drinks, and music at the 5* Grand Hotel Palace event hall.
Memorial gifts and participation certificates will be given.
Sunday 19 July 2026:
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
Optional excursion to sandy beaches.
19:00 – Departure from the hotel in traditional costumes for the event venue.
Festival Evening: Performances, souvenirs from the Municipality, treats, and water.
Monday 20 July 2026:
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
12:00 – Departure of the groups.
Optional Excursions (extra paid):
Thessaloniki City Tour – Food Tour: Explore the city’s landmarks and taste local flavors.
Cruise in Thermaikos Gulf: A scenic boat trip with views of Mount Olympus.
Beach Excursion: Visit the nearest beautiful sandy beaches for swimming and relaxation.
Guided Tours: Prices depend on the number of participants. Offers will be provided by the organizers.
