We invite you to come to the III International Folklore Festival in Ljubljana, 05 – 07 June 2026.
Participating are Ensembles from Slovenia, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Armenia, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Macedonia, and more.
Festival Welcomes:
Folk ensembles, choral groups, brass bands, orchestras, modern dance groups, majorette teams (children, youth, and adult groups).
General Rules:
Performance lasting 5-15 minutes (USB, live orchestra, or own music).
Bring national flag.
Send CV and photos via email.
Groups arrange own transport. Transfers available at extra cost.

Day 1:
Arrival of ensembles at hotel.
Accommodation in rooms.
Optional tour of Ljubljana (downtown area: Tivoli Park, National Gallery, Orthodox Church, Opera House, Parliament, Congress Square, University, Wolfova Street, Prešeren Square, Triple Bridge, Butcher’s Bridge, Dragon Bridge, Central Market, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Town Hall).
Leisure time.
Return to hotel.
Overnight.
Day 2:
Breakfast.
Optional tour to Trieste, Italy (waterfront, Canale Grande, Sant’Antonio Nuovo, Saint Spyridon Church, Roman Amphitheater, Unity of Italy Square).
Return to Ljubljana.
Preparations for the show.
Opening of the III International Folklore Festival in Ljubljana!!!
Award ceremony for diplomas, plaques, and gifts for all ensembles.
Optional: Evening with friends.
Return to hotel.
Overnight.
Day 3:
Breakfast.
Check out after breakfast.
Day of leisure in Ljubljana or optional tour to Alpine hinterland (Bohinj Lake at the foot of Triglav, Triglav National Park, then Bled Lake – panoramic drive from Tito’s villa, short tour, leisure time for walking, lunch, and krempitas). On return: visit Kranj (historical town at confluence of Kokra and Sava rivers).
Unfortunately, from here all ensembles will part ways until next year!!!

All excursions must be booked up to 14 days before the start of the festival.
