Participation Information

  • The festival welcomes participation from folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from around the world.
  • Ensembles must prepare a minimum of two dances, each lasting 8-15 minutes, to be presented with a USB or live orchestra.
  • Folklore groups are required to bring their country’s flag and gifts for municipal visits.
  • Interested groups must complete and submit an Application Form, indicating their agreement with the outlined terms.
  • Groups should send a brief CV and at least three photos of their ensemble via email.
  • By July 15, 2025, each group must provide a list of participants, including names, surnames, genders, dates of birth, and passport numbers.
  • Transportation for arrival and departure is the responsibility of the folklore groups.

Accommodation Information

Participation Fee:

100 Euros for 3 Half Board (HB) per person (3 nights with 2 meals per day)
130 Euros for 4 HB per person (4 nights with 2 meals per day)
An additional day can be reserved at a rate of 35 Euros per person per day.
Groups of 25 persons are entitled to one complimentary participation (24 paying + 1 free).

Accommodation Details:

Hotel stay will be in Kumru Hotels in Çanakkale, Turkey, with leaders and drivers provided with 2 double rooms, while the rest will be accommodated in triple and quadruple rooms.
Supplement costs: 7 Euros per person per day for a double room and 15 Euros per person per day for a single room.
The participation fee includes hotel accommodation, festival concerts, professional sound, stage, and light equipment, half-board meals, a souvenir for each group, and a certificate of attendance.

Payment Terms:

To confirm participation, groups must submit an Application Form.
Approved groups are required to pay a 10% guarantee fee, which will be deducted from the final payment.
A subsequent 20% payment for booking accommodation must be sent to the organizer.
The remaining balance is due before the festival or upon arrival, per agreement with the organizers.

Day 1

  • 14:00 Arrival in Çanakkale, hotel accommodation after meeting with festival representatives
  • 18:30 – 19:30 Dinner at the hotel
  • 20:30 Meeting with the director and choreographer

Day 2

  • 07:00 – 10:00 Breakfast
  • 10:00 – 14:00 Free time or optional visit to Çanakkale city, Cordon, and ancient Bazaar
  • 16:00 Open-air performance
  • 19:00 – 20:00 Dinner at the hotel

Day 3

  • 07:00 – 10:00 Breakfast
  • 09:00 – 15:00 Free time
  • 16:00 – 19:00 Festival party
  • 19:00 – 20:00 Dinner at the hotel

Day 4

  • 07:00 – 09:00 Breakfast
  • 10:00 – 15:00 Free time
  • 16:00 – 18:00 Gala performance
  • 19:30 – 20:30 Dinner at the hotel

Excursions Information

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the rich historical and cultural heritage of Çanakkale during their free time. Noteworthy excursions may include:

Optional Visit to Çanakkale City:
Explore the vibrant streets, local markets, and historical landmarks of Çanakkale.

Visit to the Ancient Bazaar:
Experience the traditional atmosphere of the ancient bazaar, where local crafts and goods are available.

Historical Sites Excursions:
Groups may opt for guided tours to significant locations such as:
– The ancient city of Troy, the backdrop of the Trojan Wars.
– The Gallipoli Peninsula, known for its historical significance during World War I.
– Various ancient ruins and castles, including Assos, Alxandria Troas, and Babakale.

These excursions provide a unique opportunity to immerse in the culture and history of this captivating region while forming bonds with fellow participants.
