We invite you to join us in the charming town of Şarkikaraağaç, Turkey.
Nestled near the beautiful Kızıldağ National Park and Lake Eğirdir, Şarkikaraağaç offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rich cultural traditions. The festival celebrates local heritage, including the famous Halva, in a warm and authentic atmosphere, perfect for cultural and artistic exchange from 16–20 July 2026.
Festival Welcomes:
Folk dance and cultural groups (all ages welcome).
General Rules:
Performances lasting 6–8 minutes (live music preferred, recorded music acceptable).
All groups must prepare a minimum of 2 different performances.
Bring your national flag.
Each country must bring 3 gifts for cultural exchange.
Submit the application form with:
Minimum 6 digital photos of the group.
A short group description.
Performance videos or links with descriptions.
Transport Support:
By Air: Free airport transfer provided from Antalya or Ankara Airport.
By Bus: Groups arriving by bus will receive 200 liters of diesel fuel as support.
Payment: A deposit is required for confirmation. The remaining balance is due 15 days before the festival or upon arrival. Last application and deposit deadline: 15.03.2025.
Accommodation in high-quality hostels in Şarkikaraağaç.
Participation Fee:
50 EUR per person – 4 nights with full board (3 meals daily).
Additional Information:
Rooms feature 2, 3, or 4 beds with private bathrooms.
International health insurance is the responsibility of the participant.

10:00 – Arrival in Şarkikaraağaç, check-in at accommodation. Free airport transfers provided.

Daytime free for exploration, local interaction, or rehearsal.
Lunch & Dinner.
Evening: Cultural workshop or community event.
Day 3 (18 July):

Daytime: Participation in festival opening or local traditions.
Lunch & Dinner.
21:00 – Main Festival Performance Evening.
Day 4 (19 July):
Breakfast.
Daytime: Festival activities, Halva celebration events.
Lunch & Dinner.
Evening: Final Celebration and Farewell Party.
Day 5 (20 July):
Breakfast.
12:00 – Check-out and departure.
