PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

We warmly invite folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, majorette teams, vocal groups, and art schools from children, youth, and adult groups to participate in the X Thai Songkran Festival “WORLD HERITAGE”, held from April 10–15, 2026, in Bangkok and Rayong, Thailand.

This non-competitive festival aligns with Thailand’s cultural soft power policy, offering participants the opportunity to showcase their traditional or modern dance and music while learning about Thai culture and traditions.

Performance Requirements: Each group should prepare a 10-minute performance.
Group Size: 1–20 members per group (maximum 2 groups per country).
Additional Requirements: Groups must bring their national flag, a gift for exchange, and souvenirs or traditional handicrafts to sell at the SME 2026 World’s Fair booth.

Activities Include:

  • 3 performances
  • 1 parade
  • 1 traditional costume fashion show
  • 1 entertainment workshop
  • 1 interactive classroom session in a school
  • Gift exchange
  • Booth display/exhibition of products
  • Sightseeing

 

ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Participation Fee: €179 per participant, which includes:
Transportation from the airport on April 10 and 15, and during the festival
Festival staff support
First aid and basic medical insurance (note: personal health insurance is the responsibility of the group).

Participants will stay in a 4-star hotel with the following amenities:

Triple rooms (3 beds/room) with private bathrooms, warm showers, and Wi-Fi
Access to a swimming pool and fitness center

Meals:
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided for all 5 days of the festival.

    Arrival in Bangkok
    Airport pick-up and hotel transfer
  • April 11
    Check out and transfer to Rayong or Nakhon Ratchasima Province
    Accommodation at Chomsurang Hotel (Address: 2701/2 Mahadthai Road, Nai Muang Subdistrict, Muang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, 30000)
  • April 11–15
    Festival performances, parades, workshops, fashion show, and sightseeing activities
  • April 15
    Departure: Airport transfer provided

EXCURSIONS INFORMATION

Groups have the option to enjoy a Bangkok tour (April 9–10) at an additional cost. The tour includes:

Visits to iconic landmarks: Phra Kaew Temple, Pho Temple, Arun Temple, Grand Palace
Shopping at: Chatuchak Market and Chinatown Market
A Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise

Airport pickup is provided for excursion participants.
