We invite you to join us in Ohrid, North Macedonia, the “Pearl of the Balkans.” Ohrid is a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its stunning lake—one of Europe’s oldest and deepest—and its rich spiritual and cultural history. The town offers a unique blend of ancient traditions and contemporary life, with a beautiful old town, historic churches, and breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding Galichica Mountain. This setting provides an unforgettable backdrop for a cultural exchange festival from 26-30 July 2026.
Festival Welcomes:
Folk dance groups, modern dance groups, choirs, majorette teams, brass bands, and orchestras from all over the world.
General Rules:
Perform a program with a duration of 12–15 minutes.
Perform with live orchestra or recorded music on CD or USB.
Bring the national flag of your country.
Display a panel with the name of your group and country.
Bring approximately 12-15 small gifts for cultural exchange.
No limit on the number of participants or age.
Send CV, photos, and videos via email for promotional purposes.
Groups arrange their own transport. Transfers from Ohrid airport are provided free of charge by the organizer. Transfers from other airports (Skopje, Tirana, Thessaloniki) can be arranged at an additional cost.

Day 1 (26.07.2026):
13:00 – Arrival, welcome by organizer, program meeting, and accommodation.
19:00-20:00 – Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 (27.07.2026):
09:00-10:00 – Breakfast
10:00-14:00 – Tour of Ohrid (visit to cultural monuments, entrance fees extra).
18:00 – Dinner at the hotel.
19:00 – Parade of ensembles through the Old Town.
20:00 – Official festival opening with welcome speech, fireworks, and outdoor performance.
Day 3 (28.07.2026):
09:00-10:00 – Breakfast
10:00-15:30 – Boat cruise on Lake Ohrid (optional, extra cost), including visit to the Water Museum and Monastery of St. Naum.
17:00-19:30 – Dinner at the hotel and parade of ensembles.
20:00 – Festival evening with all groups.
Day 4 (29.07.2026):

10:00-14:00 – Visit to Old Bazaar (Stara Karšija), Biljanini Izvori, Ohrid pearl factory, shopping, or optional trip to Struga.

19:00-24:00 – Traditional Macedonian dinner with live music, entertainment, and certificate awarding ceremony (optional, extra cost).
