Words cannot explain the energy that was created at this festival by the performing groups. During 24–27 April, folk groups from Estonia and Slovenia danced in the Old City of Budva and proved that unity and positive energy are all that truly matter. By sharing their dances, the groups invited people from the crowd to join, shared their culture, and proudly showcased their talent.

This was the first festival in Budva for 2026, and what an opening for the season it was. The weather was beautiful, allowing the groups to enjoy swimming in the sea and exploring this stunning city.

One of the elderly participants from Estonia shared these heartfelt words:
“We are getting older, so we are not sure how long we will be able to dance, travel, and perform. That is why we use every opportunity we have. Holding together strongly is the most important thing a group can do.”

It was truly a festival that everyone will remember.
