From August 16 to 20, the historic and sun-drenched Montenegrin coast of Budva will resonate with the vibrant energy of traditional music, dance, and costume for an unforgettable Folklore festival.

We are thrilled to welcome distinguished groups from Poland, Latvia, Canada, and Ukraine, who will come together to share their rich cultural heritage in a spectacular event that celebrates our shared global spirit.

Against the stunning backdrop of Budva’s ancient cobblestone Old Town and the sparkling Adriatic Sea, the festival will be a dynamic celebration of unity and cultural exchange, promising to create lasting memories for every performer and spectator.

Audiences will be captivated as each group performs with profound passion, showcasing the unique identity of their homeland through intricate folk dances, vibrant regional costumes, and soul-stirring traditional music. The performances, held in Budva’s charming piazzas, within historic fortress walls, and along the vibrant seaside promenade, will feature the elegant polonaise and energetic polka rhythms of Poland, the serene, nature-inspired songs and spirited circle dances of Latvia, the diverse and spirited folk traditions bridging the Atlantic from Canada, and the powerful, heartfelt melodies and heroic hopak dances of Ukraine, creating a mesmerizing tapestry of world heritage. The days and nights will be filled with enthusiastic applause as the performers share their incredible passion and history.

The festival will conclude with a joyful ceremony where every participant will receive a certificate and a gift.
