From June 4 to 8, the historic city of Ohrid, North Macedonia, came alive with color, rhythm, and vibrant energy during the Ohrid Culture Fest. This spectacular cultural celebration brought together talented performers from across Europe, from Türkiye, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Poland, each showcasing their unique traditions through music, dance, and dazzling performances on Ohrid’s stunning lakeside stages.

The festivities began with a colorful parade through Ohrid’s cobblestone streets, where all participating groups set a joyful tone for an unforgettable series of performances. The audience was captivated by the energy, grace, and cultural richness of each act, as dancers and musicians proudly represented their homelands. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt awards ceremony, where all performers received certificates and commemorative gifts in recognition of their artistry and dedication.

Beyond the stage, participants immersed themselves in the magic of Ohrid’s breathtaking sights. They explored the ancient Ohrid Old Town, visited the iconic Church of St. John at Kaneo, and admired the panoramic views from Samuil’s Fortress. A highlight was a scenic boat trip to St. Naum Monastery, where they marveled at the emerald springs and peaceful surroundings. Many also took the chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ohrid, enjoying the warm sunshine and stunning mountain backdrop.

The Ohrid Culture Fest was more than just a celebration of culture—it was a week of unity, friendship, and unforgettable memories under the Balkan sky.
