From November 27 to 30, Vienna, Austria, echoed with harmonies, festive melodies, and the spirit of unity as it hosted the “VIENNA CHRISTMAS VOICES”. This enchanting celebration brought together talented choirs from Poland, Montenegro, and Romania, each presenting the beauty of their vocal traditions and Christmas repertoire in some of Vienna’s most cherished and historic venues.

The festival began with a moving candlelit procession of choirs through the city center, setting the tone for evenings filled with warmth and musical splendor. Audiences were deeply moved by the purity, harmony, and emotional depth of each choral performance. The final evening concluded with a heartfelt ceremony, where every choir received diplomas and special gifts in recognition of their artistic dedication and contribution to the festival’s spirit.

Beyond the concerts, the participants immersed themselves in Vienna’s magical Christmas atmosphere. They marveled at the dazzling decorations of the Rathausplatz Christkindlmarkt, explored the festive stalls at Schönbrunn Palace, and enjoyed the sounds and scents of the Spittelberg Christmas Market. A visit to the majestic St. Stephen’s Cathedral for a moment of reflection, and a classical music evening at a traditional Viennese concert hall, added unforgettable cultural depth to their stay. Many choirs also took time to stroll through the beautifully lit streets of the Old Town, savoring warm Glühwein and local holiday treats.
