From April 24 to 27, Istanbul, Turkey, came alive with color, rhythm, and vibrant spirit during the Istanbul Culture Fest. This exciting cultural event featured talented performers from Croatia: Plesni klub Barbara, Vodiške mažoretkinje, PS Tena, DND Budinščina, and Limena glazba i Mažoretkinje Vrbovec, each bringing the richness of Croatian heritage to life through traditional music, dance, and lively performances on the renowned stage of Istanbul’s coastal promenade.

The festivities kicked off with a colorful parade featuring all the Croatian groups, setting a joyful tone for an unforgettable series of performances. The audience was enchanted by the energy, grace, and authenticity of each act, with each group showcasing the pride and spirit of their homeland. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt awards ceremony, where all participants were honored with certificates and commemorative gifts in recognition of their artistic excellence and cultural contribution.

Beyond the performances, participants embraced the magic of Istanbul’s famous sights and experiences. They marveled at the historic beauty of Hagia Sophia and the grandeur of the Blue Mosque, wandered through the lively streets of the Grand Bazaar, and enjoyed the unique blend of Europe and Asia along the Bosphorus. A scenic Bosphorus cruise, a stroll through vibrant Taksim Square, and visits to Topkapi Palace and the colorful Spice Bazaar added unforgettable moments to their journey. Some groups also took time to relax along the shores of the Marmara Sea, soaking in the atmosphere of this magnificent city.

The Istanbul Culture Fest was not just a celebration of culture — it was a week of discovery, friendship, and memories that will last a lifetime.
