Words cannot fully describe the atmosphere created during the XI International Music & Dance Festival “SARANDA FEST” and the II International Choral Festival “SARANDA CHORAL WAVES”, held in Saranda, Albania from 28 May to 1 June 2026.

Throughout the festival days, choirs and folklore groups from different countries filled the beautiful seaside city of Saranda with music, dance, smiles, and unforgettable emotions. Their performances once again proved that culture has the power to connect people beyond borders, languages, and traditions.

This international celebration welcomed Chamber Choir Lavirint from Serbia, Hor Lucă from Montenegro, Gradski Hor Budva from Montenegro, The Folk Dance Group of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University from Poland, Ansamblul Folcloric „Bratia” Vlădești-Argeș from Romania, and Folklore Group Dor Transilvan from Romania. Each group brought its own unique traditions, repertoire, and artistic spirit, creating a vibrant cultural exchange in the heart of Saranda.

The beautiful weather allowed participants to fully experience everything this wonderful destination has to offer. In addition to their festival performances, the groups explored the charming city of Saranda, enjoyed the stunning views of the Ionian Sea, and visited the beautiful Greek island of Corfu, creating memories that will stay with them for years to come.

The festival days were filled with inspiring performances, cultural exchange, and moments of genuine friendship. Audiences had the opportunity to enjoy a rich variety of choral music, traditional dances, colorful costumes, and unique artistic expressions from different parts of Europe, transforming Saranda into a true meeting place of cultures.
